The ninth annual IPv6 conference will take place on 6 June 2024 at the National Technical Library in Dejvice, Prague. We are currently preparing the program and looking for speakers! CESNET and the Laboratory of Advanced Networking Technologies (SITOLA) are happy to announce a new stable release of the UltraGrid software for low-latency and high-quality video transmissions over IP networks. The current stable release is versioned 1.9 and is available for download for all supported platforms at http://www.ultragrid.cz/.

This week saw a successful Network and Service Security Seminar. And whether it was lectures on managing and detecting secrets, or building and securing a local area network in our new headquarters, it was a packed agenda. Didn't get a chance to attend? To propose a procedure for advanced digitisation and presentation of textile items and to test this method on historical garments from the collection of the Museum of the City of Prague. This was the goal of the Virtual Digital Wardrobe project, whose successful completion we announced together with the Museum of the City of Prague, the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the Czech Technical University and the company Importech. Our colleague Adrián Rošinec presented a new generation of container platform for EGI, which is provided to the scientific community at MUNI and also within e-INFRA CZ.
