Our Commitment to the HR Award

At CESNET, we are committed to obtaining the prestigious HR Award. This award is granted to universities and research institutions that adopt and effectively implement the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of (Research) Personnel. By pursuing the Human Resources Strategy for Researchers (HRS4R), we aim to align our practices with the highest European standards for research and employment.

What is the HR Award?

The HR Award is a mark of excellence given by the European Commission to institutions that demonstrate a strong commitment to improving working conditions for researchers and staff. Achieving this award signifies that an institution meets European standards and is dedicated to:

  • Creating a supportive environment where employees can thrive and reach their full potential.
  • Increasing access to both European and domestic research support programs.
  • Offering opportunities for professional development and career advancement.
  • Attracting and retaining talent through a commitment to high standards.
  • Implementing clear and fair selection procedures.
  • Investing in training and development opportunities for all staff.
  • Connecting with a broad, pan-European network of research organizations.
