Basic features
The service covers broadcasting only. Users are responsible for recording, video editing, and encoding.
Internet connection at the source location is not included in the service.
- Supported formats: MPEG-4 (H.264/AVC), Windows Media, Flash Video.
- Recommended data stream ranges from 0.5 to 6 Mb/s, depending on resolution and codec.
- A network connection with adequate capacity is required at the source location.
- Users must ensure video and audio recording, encoding, and sufficient transmission capacity to streaming servers.
- The service operates on a best-effort basis.
- Optional support during events (production and direction) is available for a fee.
- Testing the service at least one working day before the event is recommended to address any configuration issues.
The service is available to individuals/teams under organizations connected to the CESNET e-infrastructure.
The service is available free of any additional charge to the organizations connected to the CESNET e-infrastructure.
The fee for the support (or production) during the event is determined individually based on the scope of work performed.
