Service Desk

A service desk is a workplace with 24-hour operation (24 hours a day, 365 days a year) that provides the following activities:

Supervision centre

Continuous monitoring of the network (optical routes, DWDM circuits, lines, nodes), services and servers

HelpDesk

assistance and communication with users during network and e-infrastructure service outages

Service options:

Basic: E-infrastructure is continuously monitored and supervised. Deviations from the standard are recorded and evaluated by CESNET NOC.

External monitoring. In case of a failure, the user is informed via e-mail or SMS.
