Basic features

CESNET develops the National Repository Platform as a central component of the National Data Infrastructure, providing an environment for scientific data repositories.

These repositories store data with detailed descriptive metadata, aligning with the FAIR data principles of Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable.

The platform primarily serves scientific communities within EOSC CZ working groups, which are open for participation.

This national infrastructure aims to benefit the entire scientific and research community in the Czech Republic.

Currently, a pilot data repository is operational, with additional services under development.
